We’re already called so often to celebrate ourselves: our accomplishments, our achievements, and with birthdays, simply the fact that we exist.  We all must ask ourselves: are we responsible for our own existence? Did we decide the day we were born? Save for Christ alone, I should think not. How, then, should we observe birthdays?
