A holy traditional priest recently informed our congregation that multiple bodies are cremated simultaneously to offset the cost in terms of dollars and energy needed in order to cremate human remains. Therefore, families receive a percentage of the ashes from that process...NOT the sole, individual ashes of their departed family members!!!
